A quiz: What is “continuing education” (CE) to you?
o    A waste of time
o    A series of eye-wateringly boring PDFs to click through
o    A stupid box to check to re-up my license 
o    Something I don’t need in my state
o    Mediocre content forced down my throat

A LOT of people, if they’re being honest, would check one or more of these boxes. You might be surprised to learn that Stephanie Mitchell and Hal Humphreys of PI Education have some similar feelings about CE. Obviously, it’s required, and there are some basic things everyone’s got to learn to earn and keep a PI license in most states. But too many CE courses do feel wasteful, stupid, or mediocre. And really, the professional education that matters most is the kind we choose — the self-study we undertake out of curiosity, ambition, and a desire to know more and be better.

Join Stephanie and Hal for a candid chat about what real learning looks like — and how it can reinvigorate and inspire you in work and in life. They’ll suggest creative ways to learn on your own — some of which can include CE. Others are absolutely free.
