I'm a former federal agent and federal prosecutor with 23 years of federal service. I defend federal and state criminal cases throughout the United States. I opened my law firm, Dan Eckhart Law, in 2017 and have defended murder, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, investment fraud, health care fraud, bank fraud, identity theft, child pornography, and firearms cases. I also worked in the Asset Forfeiture Division at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the MDFL and now handle federal and state forfeiture cases. I gained valuable banking experience as the General Counsel/Corporate Security Officer for Seaside Bank from 2014-2017. I'm licensed in Florida, Missouri and a number of federal jurisdictions throughout the U.S.
